Howard Johnson
Howard Johnson was one of the finest inventors of the last century, who was famous for his work in designing & creating a permanent magnetic rotor which was the design for a perpetual motion generator.
A Perpetual Motion Generator can described as a machine that can operate indefinitely producing more energy than it consumes although there is controversy as to whether it works or whether it’s just a load of rubbish & flies in the face of the laws of physics.
To illustrate this concept, a good example of what was probably one of the first Perpetual Motion Generators, which was created sometime before the 18th century, consisted of a wheel that seemingly turned indefinitely on an axle that was fixed to base.
Howard Johnson & the Perpetual Motion Generator
Not only was Howard Johnson’s life consumed by his passion to create a device based on a magnetic generator that could produce free power & his unique & proven design proved to be the catalyst for further research & development culminating in a refined version of his original invention.
The Howard Johnson perpetual motion machine is based on simple technology using two sets of magnets forming what is called a stator & armature that just about anyone can build at home with little cost.
It was made up of magnets fixed to lead plates around the outside of the wheel with another magnet fixed to the base of the machine.
An efficient inertia system was created by the attraction & repulsion of the magnets which allowed the wheel to spin almost indefinitely, well until the friction in the bearings using up energy caused it to slow down & eventually come to a standstill.
For those times though, when most people were illiterate, it was an incredible discovery – an invention that was worth examining & refining to create a genuine perpetual motion machine that could create energy & power.
Is It Possible To Create a Perpetual Motion Generator to Produce Electricity
Can a perpetual motion generator really be created to produce free electricity or energy?
Well, the fundamental principle behind an energy producing machine is that the energy that it produces must be greater than the amount of energy applied to it while, in theory, a perpetual motion machine using magnetic energy can operate indefinitely.
The perpetual motion theories have always had their critics who say it contradicts the laws of physics & not only have they not been disputed by scientists, the technology has been suppressed by the government & big corporates as free energy could have a huge impact on them.
Howard Johnson, an inventor, discovered how to build motors that could run without any electrical power input or other external source of energy.
When he tried to patent his invention, the Howard Johnson Motor, he was told by the U.S. Patent Office that patents were not granted to perpetual motion machines & told by physicists that such machines broke the laws of thermodynamics.
However, not put off by all the ngativity surrounding his invention, he managed to get it patented under U.S. Patent No. 4,151,431 which describes how it is possible to generate motive power using only the energy contained in magnets.
How Does a Perpetual Motion Power Generator Work?
This all sounds great however there is scientific consensus that a perpetual motion generator or a machine that operates on the basis of perpetual motion in a closed system breaks some of the scientific laws of thermodynamics.
So while this may be the case, the pursuit of a successful closed perpetual motion generator has worldwide interest with encouraging results being achieved by some inventors.
There are plans for perpetual motion generators that do not break the laws of thermodynamics, however closer scrutiny reveals that these machines do appear to use some sort of natural energy in order to operate.
One of the earliest examples of a perpetual motion machine was the Magic Wheel or Magnetic Wheel that was invented before the 18th century.
It looked like a wagon wheel spinning on its axis & the population at the time thought it was magic as it appeared to spin without any external source of power or energy.
This worked with magnets fixed to lead plates on the outside circumference of the wheel with a stationary magnet placed on the base of the wheel’s axle.
The attraction & repulsion of the magnets created an efficient inertia system similar to a flywheel which allowed the wheel to spin for a very long time.
While the friction in the bearings of the wheel axle use up energy & eventually cause the wheel to come to a standstill, the invention of this type of perpetual motion wheel was an impressive invention for medieval ages especially considering that most people at the time were not even literate.
Can a Perpetual Motion Power Generator Produce Electricity
He also explained that Newton’s First Law is the law of perpetual (uniform) motion which can be stated “An object placed in a state of motion remains perpetually (uniformly) in that state of motion until changed by the action of an external force.”
Furthermore perpetual motion has been resoundingly proved, both theoretically and experimentally, for example, once induced in a closed superconducting loop, a persistent current at zero voltage lasts indefinitely without perceivable decay.
A recent everyday example of this is superconductivity where a current will circulate ceaselessly in a wire loop without a battery.
